LAMA – The Framework for Technical Glitches

LAMA (Log Analytics and Monitoring Application) introduced by SEBI in the recent circular SEBI/HO/MIRSD/TPD-1/P/CIR/2022/160 dated Nov 25, 2022, subject to “Framework to address the ‘technical glitches’ in Stock broker’s’ Electronic Trading Systems”. This idea is to streamline the technology related interruptions and glitches (technical glitches) to protect the investors interest in the stock market and also helps the regulators to monitor the key elements of Stock Brokers and the Technical glitches in a single pane of glass view.
